In class we deepen our breathing to find balance and calm. Yoga activations and postures develop strength and stability, and improve flexibility. We move the body in tune with the breath during dynamic sequences that release tension, increase energy levels and lift the spirit. My aim is that you finish the class feeling energised yet balanced.
As you invest in yourself through yoga you may find over time a new sense of ease and vitality that radiates into your daily life!
What to wear:
Comfortable clothing, for example vest or t-shirt with leggings or track suit bottoms.
Bare feet are preferable or "sticky socks" to stop you from slipping.
You may need a jumper or hooded top and socks for relaxation at the end of the session.
What you need:
You will need a yoga mat. It is useful (but not essential) to have a yoga brick.
Make sure you drink some water after your yoga class to rehyrdate.
You participate in Yogafinity classes voluntarily and at your own risk. It is your responsibility to assess your suitability to take part. If you have any concerns, please consult your doctor before attending class to clarify that it is safe for you to be physically active at this time and in your current start of health. Yogafinity has no liability for any risk of injury you may incur as a result of taking part in classes.
When participating in Yoga classes always:
In yoga it is "how you go" not "how far you go". You should work at your own pace, listening to your body at all times. Although we want to feel the muscles stretching and strengthening (working to 'our edge') any sharp pain, jarring or strain should not occur.
