Through the physical practice of yoga you will discover how to move with freedom and ease; unlock stiff joints and tight muscles. You will learn how to use your ‘core’ properly and discover your optimal posture. Your core strength, stability and balance will improve and aches and pains will be minimised. You will enhance full body tone and range of movement.
Through the mindful practise of yoga you will discover a way to ‘be’ that removes you from distraction, from overwhelm or stagnation, from the chattering of a busy mind. You will learn the tools that can take you from stressed and anxious, to centred and settled.
You will be able to understand what you need to balance your energy levels so you feel harmonious. You will feel a sense of radiance and vigour through your whole being.
As you take agency over your own well-being and happiness, you will step into fulfilling your own potential.
it will become natural to you to find contentment within, rather than look to external influences and stimulants.
This programme is a journey to know and understand the true you as well as what you are capable of. As your authentic, more confident and contented self emerges, it will shine a light on your relationships to others, so that these too are more meaningful, compassionate and filled with understanding.
In working together, we will explore and advance the yoga techniques, principles and postures that you are interested in. You will develop your own 'yoga self practice' so you don't have to be reliant on a teacher and guide. You will become autonomous in your yoga practice and weave it truly into your everyday life.
